Outcome –

Most part of the agricultural land of Bhatapara is non-irrigated so agricultural practice mostly depends upon monsoon. In the scenario of uncertainly in the rainfall our students are learning to forecast the rain/Seasons and related events. One of our 2017-2020 batch student Chintaram Sahu may be Cited as an excellent example of forecasting the cyclonic rainfall & hence successfully saved the harvested crop.

Best Practice –

As a part of project work in Environmental studies the students were allotted the task of preparing soak pit for harvesting the rain water. More than 1000 such soak pits were prepared by the students in a single session of 2020-21. Looking at the problem of water scarcity and lowering water table day by day such practice of making soak pits in mass scale will surely resolve the water crisis of the area in & around Bhatapara.
