Being a Core & Classicalbranch of Biology, Zoology is one of the core subjects of UG program (bachelor’sdegree in science) at our college.
Thecurriculum of Zoology in the UG level includes teachings mainly related withthe animal kingdom including humans. The Wide syllabus covers various aspectsof Cytology, Taxonomy, Nomenclature, Embryology, Anatomy, Physiology, Endocrinology,Reproductive Biology, Behavioral Science, Evolution, Applied Zoology, Ecology,Environmental Biology, Toxicology, Microbiology, Medical Zoology, Genetics,Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Biotechniques.
Combinationof the theory and practical work makes it easier for the students to understandthe concepts of wide syllabus in a better way. The knowledge related with the diversefield which makes lives possible in this planet is not only necessary toprotect the environment but also its very much required for the very existenceof mankind. The very much needed conceptof sustainable development can only be fulfilled by the contribution of this inevitablesubject.
