Swami Vivekanand Library
1 Introduction: - There is no doubt that the library is the heart of any academic institution of higher
learning. Itplays significant role in pursuit of the academic excellence. Our college library
named Swami Vivekanand Library was established in the year 2009 with approx 3000
books.The library is situated in ground floor with seating capacity of 25 users. The library
presently processes around 15400 Books.

2 Library Facilities
• The e-books an de-journals are also available in the library through www.inflibnet.ac.in.
The library has INFLIBNET (N-List) facility for accessing 97000+ e-books and 6000+full
texts e-journals and the number is increasing from time to time.
• The library remains open on all the working days except Sundays and notified academic
calendar. The library is opened from10.30am to 5.30 pm on all working days.
• The members have open access to the library collection. Each shelf is accompanied by
shelf guide, which indicates shelf number and the concerned subject.
• The internet browsing facilities are also available, but only educational sites are allowed
to surf.
• The library is well equipped with LAN-connected computers with internet facility.
• The library provides current-awareness services to the readers through new arrivals
display, newspaper clippings and announcement posters etc.
• Library is under surveillance made through the CCTV.
3 Services:-
1.Reading Room Services:- More than 20 students has read in the reading room along with new
arrival books, newspapers, competitive exam books, magazines its play vital roles to boost students and lead to groom them to the present scenario of competition and communication. Library subscribed 13 general magazines and 05 leading national news paper sin Hindi and English language to keep the student abreast of current affairs. All are displayed in the corner of the reading room.
2. Library Users: - More than 1,000 users including the UG/PG students, teaching and Non
teaching Staff are benefitted.
3. Book Bank Scheme: - The text book/book bank scheme are facilitated and the SC, ST and BPL
Students are benefited.
4. Orientation Programme:-The orientation programme scheme is followed for the fresher
students.
