Being a Core & Classical branch of Biology, Zoology is one of the coresubjects of UG program (bachelor’s degree in science) at our college.
Thecurriculum of Zoology in the UG level includes teachings mainly relatedwith the animal kingdom including humans. The Wide syllabus covers variousaspects of Cytology, Taxonomy, Nomenclature, Embryology, Anatomy, Physiology,Endocrinology, Reproductive Biology, Behavioral Science, Evolution, AppliedZoology, Ecology, Environmental Biology, Toxicology, Microbiology, MedicalZoology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Biotechniques.
Combinationof the theory and practical work makes it easier for thestudents to understandthe concepts of wide syllabus in a better way. Theknowledge related with the diversefield which makes lives possible in thisplanet is not only necessary toprotect the environment but also its very muchrequired for the very existenceof mankind. The very much needed conceptofsustainable development can only be fulfilled by the contribution of thisinevitablesubject.
